• Ans is 301 items. because 301%3=1, 301%4=1, 301%5=1, 301%6=1, 301%7=0.

• trial and error method.. for 3,4,5,6 items per box it has to be 61 items. simple lcm of 3.4.5.6 i.e 60. 60+1=61. so 1 item is left evrytime. now the prob is when 7 items placed in evry box no item is left outside. so we check the multiples of (60)+1 i.e 61, 121, 181,..... in this way we find 301 which is completely divided by 7 without leaving a reminder. so the no of items is 301.
