  25x-15x=1500

• let the length of train be x metre. now to cross the platform train needs to pass its own length too i.e 100+x m so speed of train is (100+x/25) now it crosses its own length of x m in 15 s as pole has no length. speed remains same. hence ((100+x)/25)=x/15 i.e x=150m

  as per the question for extra 100 m distance the train took 10 extra seconds so the speed of the train is 10m/s
