There are a number of chocolates in a bag. If they wereto be equally divided among 14 children, there are 10chocolates left. If they were to be equally divided among 15children, there are 8 chocolates left. Obviously, thiscan besatisfied if any multiple of 210 chocolates are added to thebag. What is the remainder when the minimum feasiblenumber of chocolates in the bag is divided by 9?

  14x+10=15x+8 , then x=2
  now as que says:-
  210n+2 put n=1 then total no= 212 now devide it by 9 we get 5 as a remainder.

  so...
  [ 210n + x ] /9 ---> remainder= 5 [ let, n=1 ]

  according to question :-
  it is a multiple of 210 or 210n = 210*2= 420
  now 420/9= 6 remainder

  though it is divided by 9=3*3..ans shoould be multiple of 3.from the ans we see tht 6 is the only one.
