9 years ago I was five times as old as my eldest son. Today I am 3 times his age. How old am I now?

  Then after 9 yr age is son is 9+X ,
  age of father is 5X+9 ,
  Now according to question 5X+9= 3(9X+3)
  By solving X=9
  Then age offather is 3(9+X) = 54

  Then, 3y-9=5(y-9)
  3y-9=5y-45

  Now,x=y×3
  X=18×3=54

  on solving both eq we get x=54
