If 10 boys meet at a reunion and each boy shakes hands exactly once with each of the others, then what is the total number of handshakes

  10th boy will shake hand with 9 boys
  9th boy will shake hand with 8 boys
  8th will shake hand with 7 boys
  and so on..

  so total handshake will be 9+8+7+.....+2+1
  which will give 45 as answer
