Simple question on average age.sth like a, b, c weighted separately 1st a, b, c ,then a& b, then b &c ,then c & a at last abc, the last weight was 167,then what will be the average weight of the 7 reading?

• the reading of abc is=167
  and a,b,c together is=167
  and ab + bc+ ca=2*167
  so 167+167+334= 668
  now 668/7{for avg.}

  now average=a+b+c+ (a+b)+(c+a)+(b+c)+a+b+c/7
  =167*4/7=668/7=95.4

  we have to find [a+b+c+(a+b)+(b+c)+(c+a)+a+b+c]/7=(4a+4b+4c)/7
  [4(a+b+c)]/7=(4*167)/7=95.428 is the answer
