Milk and Water proportion in 3 pots of same volume is 3:2,7:3,11:4. If we mixed up all the material in one pot then what is proportion of milk and Water???

  Total milk proportion=(3/5+7/10+11/15)=61/30
  total water proportion=(2/5+3/10+4/15)=29/30
  so,
  milk/water=(61/30)/(29/30)=61/29

  Add up all milk proportions = 3/5+7/10+11/15 = 61/30
  
  Add up all water proportions = 2/5+3/10+4/15 = 29/30

• milk/water pot 1 = 3:2
  milk/water pot 2 = 7:3
  milk/water pot 1 = 11:4
  
  total milk : water ratio = (3+7+11):(2+3+4)=20:9
  
  you can imagine it say is 3liter milk and 2 liter water in one pot so on 7liter ........
  so in total the poured pot will have total 3+7+11 liter milk and 2+3+4=9 liter water so ratio of volume will be 20:9

• let x ml of solution in each pot as question says same volume in 3 pots
  so, extract the parts of milk and water from each pot and mix together
  total milk=(3x/5 + 7x/10+11x/15)=47x/30
  total water=(2x/5+ 3x/10+4x/15)=29x/30
  milk/water= 47x/30*30x/29= 47:29 (if we mixed all the material in one pot then proportion of milk and water is 47:29)
