- Substitute the value of x and check if it is divisible using options
Eg: Let x=2 (X^4)+4 = 20
a) (2+1)^2+3 = 12
20 is not divisible
b) (2-1)^2+1 = 1
20 is divisible by 1
c) (2-3)^2+4 = 5
20 is divisible by 5
Hence the option is A - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(14) No(1)

- options are wrong they are like
a) i dont remember exactly
b) (x+1)^2 +1
c) (x-1)^2 +1
d)none
a might be the right ans - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- i think a and c both any idea how c is divisible

- (x^4)+2^2 = (x^2)2+2^2
take x^2 =a , 2=b
=> a2+b2 =(a+b)2-2ab =>( x2+2)^2-2(2)x2 =>
it is in the form of a2-b2 => (a+b)(a-b)
(x2+2+2x)(x2+2-2x) .
it is divisible by only option b.
=> the question is wrong.
