A company decided to buy carpeting fir large rectangular reception room ,6meters wide by 15meters long,and for an adjoining hall and stairway of 40square meters .if 10%more carpet than needed is oredered to allow for wasteage ,approximately how much would the carpet cost at $7.00 a sqaure meter?

area of the stairway is 40 sq mt.
area for the adjoining hall =90-40=50 sq mt.
hence 90+40+50=180;
10 % more 180+18=198 sq mt.
