Find two consecutive integers such that the sum of their squares is 5. How do I solve this problem?

  x^2+x^2+2x+1=5
  2x^2+2x+1-5=0
  2x^2+2x-4=0
  x^2+x-2=0
  x^2+2x-x-2=0
  x(x+2)-1(x+2)=0
  (x-1)(x+2)=0
  x=1,-2
  if x=1 den x+1=2
  if x=-2 den x+1=-1
  so 1 & 2 or -1 & -2
