There is a square ground of side 14cm,two horses r there in two different point of the square such that they can just touch them, how much grass will not be covered by the horses

• If two horses are tied in middle of opposite sides of square of side 14 cms ( too small) with rope of length 7 cms, they will touch each other and each horse can cover an area equal to semicircle of radius 7 cm and both horses together will cover the area equal to area of circle of radius 7 cms.
  
  Area of square not covered by both horses= 14*14 - 7*7*22/7 = 196 - 154 = 42 sq cms
