Leo's garden, which is 6m wide, has the same area as Jen's garden, which is 8 m wide. Find the lengths of the two rectangular gardens if Leo's garden is 3m longer than Jen's garden
My book does not go into much help with this problem:
If y = f(x)=5x+1 find each value and my book gives me f(2/5) Not much further instruction on this one. Any help would really be appreciated.
