The ratio of water to milk in a 15 litre solution is 1:4. The shopkeeper adds some milk to make the ratio to 1:5. How many litres of milk was added?

now, to add x L milk
3/12+x=1/5
after solve it

(4/5)*15litres = 12litres of milk
Now we know water quantity is same only milk is added so,
1:5
(1/5)*x=3litres
X=18 litres

15-12= 3 litres
