Read Solution (Total 6)

- If A can copy 50 pages in 10 hour, Then
A = 50,
If A + B can copy 70 pages in 10 hour, then say
A + B = 70
B = 70 - 50 (Substituted A's value since A can copy 50 pages in 10 hour)
B = 20 but for 10 hours.
20 pages = 10 hour
1 page = 10/20 => 0.5hr
26 pages = (26 * 0.5) or (26 * 1/2)
26 pages = 13 hour

- A copy 50 pages in 10 hours.
A and B copy 70 pages in 10 hours.
it means B copies 20 pages in 10 hours.
then time for 26 pages for B..???
20 pages = 10 hours
6 pages = 6*10/20
=3 hours.
then total time taken by B for 26 hours is 10+3= 13hours - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)

- 13 pages.
A :
10 hrs = 50 pages.
1hr = 5 pages.
A+B :
10hrs = 70 pages.
1hr = 7 pages.
thus only B can type : 7-5 = 2 pages.
2 pages typed by B in 1 hour.
26 pages typed by B in 26/2 = 13 hours (Answer) - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
