let height of the tower is 30m high....
angle of elevation of the points in the ground from the top of the tower is 30 degree and 45 degree respectively...
use tangent formula for both angles
tan 45=30m/L1
L1=30m
tan 30=30m/L2
L2=17.321
distance between the two points=L1+L2=30m+17.321m=47.321 m
