- Dealer gains (300/47)% for a Kg.
Let cost price is Rs100
i.e he gains Rs(300/47) for a Kg
i.e his selling price is Rs(100+300/47)
Now
If he used proper weight then
selling price of Rs100 would account for 1Kg
and selling price of Rs(100+300/47) would account for 1.06382979Kg (approx)
Now
Dishonest 1.06382979Kg is equal to honest 1 Kg
therefore dishonest 1 Kg is equal to honest (1/1.06382979) Kg
=940 gm approx. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(1)
- If a dishones seller profess to sell his items on CP but uses false weight then,
Gain %=Error*100/True value-Error.
Here Gain % is give=300/47%
False weight??
Let False weight=x
Applying Formulla,
300/47=x*100/1000-x
=>3/47=x/1000-x
=>3000-3x=47x
=>3000=50x
So,x=60
So the false weight used by seller=1000-60=940
