- let tp represents tomato pure and tj reprsnts tomato juic...
tp contains 80%of non water contents
tj contains 10% of non wtr contents
tp/tj=80/10=8:1
=>tp=8tj
tj=(1/8)*tp
for 20 litres of tj,20*(1/8)*tp=2.5!!

- there is 20 L of tomato juice. out of which 90 % is water which means a total of 18 L water is present in tomato juice. so total amount of tomato left is 2 L . now in tomato puree 20 % is water ((100+20)*2)/100 which is equal to 2.4 L. so the answer is 2.4 L

- 20 kg of tomato juice contain water=18 kg,
20 kg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, other element=2 kg
so we have2 kg other element to from pure tomato,now ratio of water and other element in pure tomato=2:8 so water that use for 2kg other element is given by;2;8=x/2=.5 kg so now total weight of pure tomato=2+.5=2.5kg - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
