The width of a rectangular is one half its length. The perimeter of the rectangle is 54 cm. What are the width and length of the rectangle?

  then perimeter =2(l+b)=10x=54cm
  x=>5.4cm
  lenght=10.8cm

• Let length of rectangle be L=2x
  -then from que. breadth is B=x
  -now
  -perimeter of rectangle is 2*(L+B)
  
  2*(L+B)=54
  => 2*(2x+x)=54
  => 2*(3x)=54
  => 6x=54
  
  => x=9
  so the Length is L=2*9=18
