A ball falls from a height of 8ft ,bounces back to half the distance & continues till it comes to rest.
what is the total distance travelled by the ball?

• 8+4+4+2+2+1+1+.....
  = 8+ 2*(4+2+1+0.5 +.......)
  = 8+2*4*(1-1/2)= 8+2*4/(1/2)= 8+16 =24 ft
