Ram was travailing back from his friend house in his old ambassador. he could only travel along at a steady 30 miles per hr and managed a paltry 20 miles per litere of fuel. at the start of the journey he has placed exactly 10 litre of fuel into a tank. He knew though that the fuel tank lost fuel at the rate of half a liter per hhour. As ram arrived home the car stopped because it had run out of a fuel and h only just made it. How far was his friends house from rams.

  so a 10 ltr fuel tank canbe emptied in 5 hrs
  since he travels 30 miles/hr; in 5 hrs he travels 150 miles

  To lost this fuel time required = 10/0.5 = 5 hr
  So distance = 30 * 5 = 150 mil

• For one hour old ambassador consumes 1.5 liter along with it 0.5 liter is being lost for each hour. So per hour in total 2 liters of fuel is being emptied and the ambassador travels 30 miles. 10 liters at a rate of 2 liters per hour will be sufficient for 5 hours. At 30 miles per hour, for 5 hour it can travel 150 miles which is the final solution.
