Worker A takes 8 hours to do a job. Worker B takes 10 hours to do the same job. How long should it take both A and B, working together but independently to do the same job?

B takes. 10hours
Lcm(A,B)=total no of units of work
Lcm(8,10)=40 units of work
A does 40/8=5units/hour
B does 40/10=4 units/hour
Since they work together independently they do5+4=9units/hour
