  so according to the given condition
  14x/5 = 8y/7 = 7z/8 so x:y:z = 5/14:7/8:8/7 = 5*56/14:7*56/8:8*56/7

  => x=5/14 , y=7/8, z=8/7.

  x = 5/14*56 = 20.
  
  y = 7/8*56 = 49.
  
  z = 8/7*56 = 64.
  
  So, investments x:y:z = 20:49:64.
