A watch is set accurately at midnight, but gains six minutes every hour. If it stopped 30 minutes ago, and now snows 8:26 a.m., what's the correct time now?

• The clock gains 6mins per hour. So,at 1am,it shows-1:06.
  at 2am,it shows - 2:12
  at 3am,it shows- 3:24.
  similarly, 4:30,5:36,6:42,7:48.
  now,at 8am,it shows-8:54am.
  but the clock stopped half an hour ago n is showing 8:26. So,the time would be btwn 7 n 8. The clock stopped at 7:54am. Thevreal time at 7:54 would be- 7:06am.
  so answer is 7:06am.

  Explanation :
  From 12am to 8 am it has gained 8*6=48 min and for 26 mins it should gain 2mins more than means it has gained a total of 50 mins.
  but since it stopped 30 mins ago, so the correct time must be : 8.26 am - 50mins + 30 mins = 8.06am
