How long will a train 100m long travelling at 72kmph take to overtake another train 200m long travelling at 54kmph ?

• 72 kmph=72*5/18 mps=20mps.
  54 kmph=54*5/18 mps=15 mps.
  The train has to travel (200+100)m=300m to overtake the other one.
  Resultant velocity=(20-15)mps=5 mps
  time it takes to travel 300m at a velocity of 5 mps is 60 sec..
  Ans 60 sec..

  let 72*5/18=20 and 54*5/18=15 ok then we hv 100m+200m=300m long distance.
  overtake means one direction then formula is _
  100+200/20-15 = 60m
  ans is 60m
