Find the perimeter of the given figure

the figure is a rectangle on the top for the width it has :

(x)/(2x-5)

the figures height is:

(8)/( find the area of a triangle with sides of length 9 and 24 and included angle 12degrees. Round to the nearest tenth.
I have 22.5, but I believe I did this wrong since I seen an example using trig functions, can someone please help.
