I want to know if this problem is correct:

(y-2/3)^2 = 49

y - 2/3 = + or - Square root 2/3

If y - 2/3 = 2/3 then y = 4/3

If y - 2/3 = -2/3 then y = 0

Is this solution correct the way it is worked out? This was on a test not in book. If a potato grows 3cm in 2 weeks, how much will it grow in 52 weeks?
