A is twice as good a workman as B and together they finish a
piece of work in 18 days. In how many days will A alone finish the work?

(one day work done)A+B=1/18;
sol:
since we have to find no of days taken by A to complete the work,
multiply A's ratio with the total work done (ie)
a's ratio=2/2+1=2/3;
so,(1/18)*(2/3)=(1/27)(one day)
therefore, ans is 27 days
