  because sanjay and ravi do the remaining in 8 days...and ravi and manish have done a part of the work in 2 days..so 8+2=10 days

• the answer should be (b) because nobody is adding 2 days to the solution 8 which we are getting on solving since it is being asked how long it will take to finish the work.
