hi. i need to know how to factor this equation:

12x^3-23x^2-3x+2

i know that the answer is:

(x-2)(3x+1)(4x-1),

but i don't know how to get this result. please give me Suppose W varies directly as x and y and inversely as Z, and W=48 when X=2, Y=8 and Z=12. Find W when X=12, Y=6 and Z=24.
