A lady goes for shopping she some shoestrings.4times the number of shoestrings she bought pins and 8times handkerchiefs.she paid each item with their count as each piece's cost.she totally spent Rs 3.24.How many handkerchiefs did she buy?

  cost of shoestrings=x*x
  pins=4x*4x;
  h.k=8x*8x;
  x^2+16x^2+64x^2=324
  x=2

• x+4x+8x=325 the x=25 which means she paid 25 paise on an iteam the 8x=8*25=200 she paid 200 paise on handkerchiefs she paid each iteam with their cost then for making 200 nearset square is 14*14=196 then she purchased 14 hand kerchiefs
