A ship went to after 180 miles a plane stated with 10 times speed that of ship.find the distance when they meet from starting point

and plane took 't' hours to meet the ship
Than, vt is the distance ship travelled after plane started
(10v)t = 10vt is the distance plane travelled.
So we have, vt + 180 = 10vt
or 9vt = 180
or vt = 20
