Walking 6/7th of his usual speed, a man is 12 minutes too late. The usual time taken by him to cover that distance is:

We know that -
Distance/Speed=Time
Therefore,
(D/(6x/7))-(D/x)=12
Solving this we get-
D/x=72min. which is nothing but usual speed.
