Leon drove 270 miles to the lodge in the same time as Pat drove 330 miles to the lodge. If Pat drove 10 miles per hour faster than Leon, then how fast did each of them drive? I have 2 problems i need help with,and if you could break it down so i can understand how to solve these.

1:Solve by factoring,
x^2 - 9x = -20

2: Solve by completing the square,
x^2 + 8x + 13 = 0
