- one statement is sufficient to answer as in 2*X, here X can have 3.5 as real value also

- X/2 can not be positive integer.
but 2X be always interger.
so ans 1 is correct - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(1)
- Nwe cannot conclude from both the statements
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
- 3 option since it given x is a positive integer.so it can be aswered by either of the statment
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)
- STATEMENT 1 is correct (because X/2 is not sure to it is an integer it may be in decimal, but 2X is always an integer)
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(2)
- Both statement are not sufficient
both cannot tell the exact value of x
- 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- option 1 is correct.
x/2 is correct becoz here already says that X/2 is an integer means value of X/2 is not a fraction value
so suppose x=1 so X/2=0.5 which is not correct according to que.
so X>1 always so x=2 means X/2=1 which is integer
but in case of 2X if we put x=0.5 then 2X give us 1 which is integer but X is not integer
So we can say according to 1st...that X is an integer - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- ans 1st is write
