How much is the weight of 20 mangoes and 30 oranges?
i. 1 orange weighs twice that of 1 mango
ii. 2 mangoes and 3 oranges weigh 2 kg

• by eq 1.
  1 orange weight=2x
  1 mango weight=x
  by eq 2.
  2 mango +3 orange =2 kg=2000 gm
  2*x + 3*2x=2000 gm
  solve eq then x=250 gm
  so 1 mango=250 gm weight
  1 orange=500 gm.
  then Ans.=
  20 mangos weight=5000 gm=5 kg
  30 oranges weight=15000 gm =15kg

• see the second condition 2 mangoes and 3 oranges weigh2 kg.. then the weight of 20 mangoes and 30 oranges should be 2(10)= 20kg

  Multiply both sides with 10
  20 Mangoes+ 30 Oranges =20 kgs

  nd by equ2- 2mangoes means 1 orange+3 orange weigh 2kg
  sp if 4 orange weigh is 2kg then
  20 mangoes+30 oranges=40 oranges=2/4*40=20kg

• it is a data sufficiency question so answer should be C....i.e, solution can be obtained by using both the equations......
