Number Series
Look at this series: 7, 10, 8, 11, 9, 12, … What number should come next? Ans :-
a.( 13 ) b.( 10 ) c. ( 14 ) d.( 16 )
Read Solution (Total 13)
-
- Solution : b.(10)
Explaina : In the sequence, we have two series. first series starting with 7 and second starting with 10. after that n+1 procedure as follows as per series.
ie., 7 = 7
10 = 10
7 +1 = 8
10 +1 = 11
8 +1 = 9
11 +1 = 12
9 +1 = 10. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(14) No(2)
- Its simple easy
+3, -2 alternate terms :)
example : 7+3=10, 10-2=8. ... goes on
So answer is b) 10 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(0)
- b.( 10 )
there are two series...
7,8,9,10
and
10,11,12,13 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(1)
- the pattern followed is increase by 3 and decrease by 2 so the next no should be decresed by 2 means 12-2=10
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
- Adding 3,then subtracting 2
7+3=10, 10-2=8, 8+3=11, 11-2=9, 9+3=12,12-2=10,….

- B. 10
7 to 10=3 increase
10 to 8=2 decrease
8 to 11=3 increase
11 to 9=2 decrease
9 to 12=3 increase
So 12 to 10= 2 decrease - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
