- (n-r)C(r-1)where n=7 & r=3
so 6C2 = 6*5/2*1=15 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(12)
- (n+r-1)C(r-1) where n=7-3=4, r=3
so,6C2= 15 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(7)
- answer is 1806

- : Division of m+n+p objects into three groups is given by (m+n+p)!/m!×n!×p!
But 7 = 1 + 3 + 3 or 1 + 2 + 4 or 1 + 1 + 5
So The number of ways are (7)!/1!×3!×3!×12! + (7)!/1!×2!×4! + (7)!/1!×1!×5!×12! = 70 + 105 + 21 = 196 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
- We can arrange in 15 ways

- we must atleat 1 to 3 people.. ie total no of things is 3.. now the remainging things is 4.. so the formula is n=4 ,r=3 therefore (4+3-1)C(3-1)=15

- for this kind of prob the formula is n+r-1 c r-1..
here n=7
and r=3..
so the sol is 9c2=36 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- I think it is :
7p3=210..bcoz it is asked to arrange so arrangement trends to permutation r8!!! - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
- 7p3 bcoz of arrangement
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(2)
- a+b+c=7
all of them get at least one so 7-3=4,
a+b+c=4
n+r-1 C r-1 = 7+3-1 C 3-1 = 15 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- answer may be 840

- formula is (n-1)C(r-1). as all of them must get atleast one. so answer is (7-1)C(3-1)=6C2=15
- 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- (n+r-1)C(r-1)
9C2=36 - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
