has anyone solved problem related to geometry asked on dec 21 which is "the area of rhombus is 400 & its diagnol is 80 its perimeter is equal to perimeter of circle then what is the area of circle", options are something like 1)6400 2)10000 3)2000 4)65000

- ans is 2067.75 as => area of rhombus is PQ/2 =400 ;;
one diagonal is given =80 ;;
so 80*Q/2=400 ;; Q=800/80=10 ;;
rhombus perimeter = perimeter of circle
4a = 2*pi*r
a= sqrt of(P^2+Q^2) /2 = sqrt of (80^2+10^2)/2 = 40.31
then perimeter of rhombus is 4a => 4*40.31=161.24
161.24=2*pi*r
25.65=r
in this problem asked to find area of circle =>pi*r^2
22/7 *(25.65)^2 = 2067.75 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(17) No(2)
- this is not the correct question
the ques ws given area of rhombus = 2400
and after solving the answer will be 10000/pi - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(9) No(0)
- area of rhombus= (1/2)*d1*d2 ............. d1 and d2 are length of diagonals
d1=80 ; and area =400 so d2=10
now if we draw a diagram using these d1 and d2 we will get the value of side of Rhombus=5*(sqrt 65)
so if circle radius is R then 2*pi*R = 4*5*(sqrt 65)
from above equation R=[ 20*(sqrt 65) ] / [2*pi]
so area of circle=> pi*R*R= 6500/pi - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(0)
- one diaonal is 80,it will bisect other one at right angle. So by pythagoras we will get half of the second diagonal = 30 and side of rhombus = 50.So the perimeter will be 200.
Now for the circle 2*pi*r= 200.Thus we can get the area. But the answer does not match any of the options - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
- none of the option is correct
area of rhombus=product of diagonals/2
d1=80
d2=10
perimeter=4*side - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- 2069.09
(d1*d2)=800 so,d2=10
a=((6400+100)^0.5)
4a=2*3.14*r
so,area=2069.09 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
