I need help solving these two seperate problems by using the substitution method. Can anybody help?
1. 1.25x+1.10y=1520

2. 1.10x+1.25y=1535

Please somebody help me! Two hikers, Alan and Ben, are 13.5 miles apart and walking towards eachother. They meet in 3hrs. Find the rate of each hiker if Ben walks 0.9 mph faster than alan.
