One angle is 120 degree and one largest side is 28 cm. and the multiplication of other 2 sides is 240, find the sum of three sides of triangle?
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- c^2 = a^2+b^2-2abCos C
so
28^2 = a^2+b^2 -2*240 cos 120
784 = a^2+b^2 -2*240*(-1/2)
solving this we get , a^2 +b2 = 784-240 = 544 and ab=240 (given)
solving these, we get a=20 cms, b=12 cm.
sum of sides = 20+12+28 = 60 cms - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(7) No(0)
- Other 2 sides will be 20 and 12 cms.
so sum of 3 sides = 20+12+28 =60 cms. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(0)
