  He can walk one mile due south, then one mile due east and finally one mile due north where he finds his cabin again. This means that his cabin can only be at the North Pole, and for that reason the bear will be white.As polar bears are white and only find in north pole.

• The question doesn't say that the hunters cabin was in north pole.
  But in the TCS question paper it does say that the huntrs cabin was in north pole.

  and if its wooden area and there should be a forest .
  And due to forest it's not possible shout other direction.
