A and B run a kilometer and A wins by 23 Seconds. A and C run a kilometer and A wins by 273 m. When B and C run the same distance B wins by 28 seconds. The time taken by A to run a kilometer is ?

Let time taken by A,B and C to travel 1 km be a,b,c respectively.

then
a= b-23
b = c-28
a= c-51

Also time taken by A to travel 1 km =a= time taken by C to travel 727 mtrs
time taken by C to travel 1 km, c = a*1000/727

hence
a= a*1000/727 -51

solving it, we get

a= 135.81 secs
