if 1 jan 2006 is sunday then what is the day for 1 jan 2010?????how to solve these type of questions?????????

• IST JAN 2010 WOULD BE TUESDAY:
  If Ist Jan of any Non-leap year is Sunday, then 31st Dec.would be Monday(one day would be advanced as it consists of 365 days, that is to say one odd day)
  Similarly, If Ist Jan of any leap year is Sunday, 31st Dec. would be Tuesday ( two days would be advanced as it consists of 366 days, that is to say two odd days)
  BASING ON THE RULE LET US FIND OUT:
  1ST JAN.2006......... SUNDAY
  31ST DEC.2006.........MONDAY(One day advance)
  1st Jan.2007..........TUESDAY
  31ST DEC.2007.........WEDNESDAY(One day advance)
  1st Jan.2008..........THURSDAY
  31st Dec.2008.........SATURDAT(Two days advance as 2008 is a leap year)
  1st Jan. 2009.........SUNDAY
  31st Dec.2009..........MONDAY(One day advance)
  1st Jan. 2010..........TUESDAY

• it will be saturday probably if you calculate the no. of odd days as per that we have 1 leap year and other 4 years=1+1+2+1+1 so i.e ....saturday
