Granpda and Grandma have 126 years togehter. How old is Grandma and how old is Grandpa, if Grandpa is twice older then Grandma was when Grandpa was as old as Grandma is now?

  P = 2 ( M - (P-M) )
  
  solving these eqns, we get
  P= 72 and M= 54
  
  so ages are 72 yrs and 54 yrs

  And GrandMa = GM
  GP is twice older than GM = 2(GM)
  GP is twice older then GM was when GP was as old as GM is now = 2(GM-(GP-GM))
  
  By Solving the equations, we get
  GP present Old = 72yrs
  GM present Old = 54yrs
  
  Now, Difference of GP and GM age is = 72-54 = 18yrs
  
  So, When GM was 18(Diff of present age), GP age was Twice as GM = 2(18) = 36yrs
  
  Satisfies all the Condition.
