Measure exactly 2 liters of water if you have:

1) 4 and 5-liter bowls
2) 4 and 3-liter bowls

• 1) 4 and 5-liter bowls
  
  Initially we have empty bowls(4 and 5 liter bowl). Now,
  
  Fill 5-liter bowl, pour water from it to fill the 4-liter bowl.
  
  Now make empty the 4-liter bowl.
  
  Pour the remaining 1 liter to the 4-liter bowl.
  
  Again fill the 5-liter bowl and then pour water from it to fill the 4-liter bowl(where there is already 1 liter). So, it need only 3 liters.
  
  Now, we have exactly 2liters of water in the 5liter bowl.\\
  
  
  2) 4 and 3-liter bowls
  
  Initially we have empty bowls(3 and 4 liter bowl). Now,
  
  Fill 4-liter bowl, pour water from it to fill the 3-liter bowl.
  
  Now make empty the 3-liter bowl.
  
  Pour the remaining 1 liter to the 3-liter bowl.
  
  Again fill the 4-liter bowl and then pour water from it to fill the 3-liter bowl(where there is already 1 liter). So, it need only 2 liters.
