1. There was a grand mother in a village who had a grand child.Upon asking her grand childs age she told that she is as older as many days old as her daughters age in weeks and as many days as her own age in years.The sum of the three is 130.then how old is the child.?

  then hers daughters age is x weeks and her age is x years.
  thus x + 7x + 365 x= 365*130
  thus x= 127.2 days

• Let the ages of grandmother, her daughter and the grandchild be x, y and z respectively in years.
  
  z in days = y in weeks
  z*365 =y*52 ...(i)
  
  Similarly, z in days = x in years
  z*365 = x ... (ii)
  Also, x + y + z = 130 ... (iii)
  
  Substituting the values of x, y and z in equation (iii) we get,
  365*z + (365/52)*z + z = 130
  Solving this we get z = 0.3485 in years = 127 days
  So the child is 127 days old.
