If the profits of a business are distributed among three partners A, B and C in such a way that 4 times that amount received by A is equal to 6 times the amount received by B and 11 times the amount received by C.What is the ratio of the amount which the three received?
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- The ratio of the amount receieved: A:B:C=32:22:12
As per the given condition,
4A=6B=11C
Let it be K
4A=K, A=K/4
6B=K, B=K/6
11C=K, C=K/11
Now the ratio becomes: 1/4:1/6:1/11=33:22:12 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)
- the ratio is 33:22:12
according to puzzle 4A=6B=11C=K(let)
Therefore A=K/4, B=K/6,C=K/11
now A:B=3:2
AND B:C=11:6
NOW A:B:C=(3:2)(11:6)
BY arranging the sequence 3:2
11:6
after multiplication the ratio is 33:22:12 - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(2)
