- It is clear that Either B true or C true both can't be true.
1.take first case: B true then day is Thursday and c tells lie (false).
2.take second case: C true then day is Sunday and B also speak truth on sunday so on this statemens cant be possible.

- CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASES
B C
1)TRUE(T) FALSE(F)
2)FALSE(F) TRUE(T)
SUN MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT
B (T) (F) (F) (F) (T) (T) (T)
C (T) (T) (T) (T) (F) (F) (F)
CASE 1:
IF B is true then the day must be among(THU FRI SAT SUN) and C is false then day must be among(THU FRI SAT)
but in B's statement he speak lie on the prievios day so the day must be THURADAY
CASE 2:
IF C is true then the day must be among( SUN MON TUE WED) and B is false then day must be among( MON TUE WED)
but in C's statement he speak lie on the prievios day no such day can be found where both case meet so this
case is eleminated
A case can be encountered when both speak truth ,but we cannot draw any conclusion from that - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)
