exam Maths Puzzle Numerical Ability

Hi, I have to suppose the vertex of the parabola y=3x^2-6x+k is (1,2) I have to find k.
I have substituted x=1 and y=2 into the equation and got
2=3(1)^2 - 6(1) +k
2= 3-6+k
2-3+6=k
k=5
Is this right??? thanks.
