  the sum of the digit is 10
  x+y=10
  10x+y-18=10y+x
  x-y=2
  x=6 y=4

  42 is wrong since sum of digits is not equal to 10.

  given that the number should be reversed if we substracted 18 from it
  
  =>42-18=24
  
  24 which is exactly reverse of the number 42
  
  hence the number is 42
